Dry seaweed advice please

hi all, how long should I leave my dry seaweed in my tank before it starts affecting my parameters? my fish haven't really started going at it much yet

What fish are you attempting to feed it to? I wouldn't leave it overnight. But nori doesn't have as negative an effect on tanks as flake food or pallets do. I recommend folding it a number of times instead of letting it float around and getting ripped apart and polluting your tank.

Following along, just started running this also. Havent noticed any increase in nitrate though.
