Drywall Bulkheads to Protect Walls/Pipes?

Hi everyone. I have my fish room directly below where the fish tank will be. I have my piping going through my wall. I'm trying to figure out what type of slip or bulkhead I can put in the drywall to 1) protect the drywall, and 2) secure the plumbing.

Does anyone know what I need to get? I'm thinking some type of plug or bulkhead, similar to these: https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/bulkhead-abs-thread-x-slip-flange-head-side.html

Because your pipes already ran thru the wall and so close. Can you use pvc,abs pipe as a protection sleeve. Refrigeration piping done that way some times.

I used furniture electrical covers from Amazon. You can find them in various sizes, and they help to protect your drywall from any rattling of the pipes. They also provide a finished look to the edge.

Although, since some of the pipe are so close together, I will need to do some modifying.

Those might work! My pipes are 1.5" pipes, so that size might be too small. I need to see if there are larger ones.

There definitely are. Those worked for my size pipes, but you can find some larger ones. And you may need to get a matching hole saw to coordinate the sizes. I love the look on my pipes. I also use the same ones for my mounted controller board, so the pack size becomes very useful.

I think it sounds like you want a mounting flange. Can get them with different shape bases. Google PVC mounting flange and you'll see lots of images and shapes

Fill the area with expanding foam. Trim off excess once it dries and hardens.

I've seen the construction crew use that stuff elsewhere in our house. It sounds like something I would make a huge mess with, but an idea worth considering.

Use tuff stuff from home depot. It doesnt make a huge mess. Just dont over fill the hole. Leave room for expansion. And what comes out cuts easy with a spackle knife once its hardened.

Spray foam is going to be the best bet. Buy the WINDOWS AND DOORS foam, it doesn't expand as much.

I used 4in pvc pipes through the wall and then ran my plumbing through them. Worked great.
