Drywall dust

I was rehanging my lights after cleaning them and dropped a screw with some plaster board on it into the water. The dust immediately floated and I got as much as I could by dabbing the surface with a paper towel. There wasn't much left in the tank but do you think this will kill anything?

Nope. Given the amount of drywall dust I’ve inhaled and eaten over the years if it was fatal, I wouldn’t be here writing this post.

I wouldn't be worried. I remodeled my kitchen which is 4 feet from my tank and never covered it. I had to remove a layer of drywall dust off the horizontal surfaces of my tank daily and never had any ill effects from it. Could only imagine how much ended up in the water.

It doesn't seem to have affected anything thank you for the peace of mind lol.
