DSA 105gal Rimless build by poolkeeper1

Wow Bill.... Wow... Hope your new tank does just as well as the photo that I just saw!!!

How thick is the glass on this tank, Bill? One thing I personally won't miss on your last one was that bowing! :squigglemouth:

1/2" no bowing here DSA makes high quality tanks, They are the old Oceanic builders that started this co when Oceanic moved out of Texas.

How many #'s do you have and what condition was it when taken out of his tank ? I also have acess to old Marco rock but not sure about using it either!

Bill I'd guess at least 80-100lbs. the rock was good. no phosphates in his tank. it was pretty covered with blue clove polyps, but I pressurewashed the exterior pretty good. all that I still see on the rock are some old encrustations. the larger pieces are at least football sized or bigger. it is mostly larger pieces anyways. I was going to try and save some of it for a 5 or 10G nano build but I may just go with a sterile frag tank on it.

btw, im looking for a 12x12x12 rimless cube that is drilled or can be...

Welcome back Bill!

Awesome to see you back Bill. When I was getting in, you were getting out. I actually bought my Hanna Phosphate checker from you. I've seen pics of your last tank, can't wait to see what you do this time.

^same here, my first acros came from his tank breakdown, pink lemonade and freebie stag.

Glad to see you back in the hobby, your last tank inspired me to one day have a tank over filled with acros. Im slowly making progress in that direction.

Thanks everybody I hope i can live up to the last effort but it will take time and dedication, Anyone that has corals from my last tank i will be seeking them to add to the new tank. There are a few that are must haves IMO and will love to have them back when the time is right.
Thanks all
Bill

Sweat bill glad to see you well and back. What it took a year or so. Told you will be back.
Can't wait to see another beautiful tank by you.

Hey Buddy yeah actually about 2 years but glad to get started again as I'm pretty bored without a tank, Hope to get it cycling within a couple of weeks or so and hope i can do as well as the last again this time. Having my health back is the most important thing and is another reason i'm starting again.
Hope all is well with you too and your Wife and of course your tank....
