DSA 105gal Rimless build by poolkeeper1

It looks like he put milk in it. Bill is that 2% or whole?:D

I glue animals to rocks...
Only 2% here. Yeah should have rinsed the sand, Thought it said clean ready to use sand NOT anyway it's started to clear up this morning plus i added a large bottle of Fritzyme #9 and part of the cloud is a bacterial bloom colonizing the rock and sand.

On a side note anyone have a couple of 4" filter socks i could buy at the meeting today??
Bill

sorry Bill can't make the meeting. Have to fix leaky shower and clean out garage today. Probably tinker with the tank a bit too :)

What are the dimensions on the stand? I just picked up the EXACT same tank this weekend so I'll be following along closely.

Your gonna love it! I did 48 1/2 x 24 1/2 x 36" High so there is plenty of room to fit equipment and be able to access the sump easy. I will skin the stand with removable panels so i get full access when i need it in due time, just want to get it cycled and start the journey. This is my second DSA as i had one of their first built 185gal before this one when they first started to make them.
Good luck with the Twin...

That's the only thing I dislike about the OEM stand, I wish it were 36" like yours is instead of only 31" high.

Are you going to just run one Maxspect Razor 160W 1600K over the tank? Will it provide enough coverage?

Not sure we are going to start with one and if i need a second i'll get another, @ 27" wide a 6" gap on each side seems minimal but we shall see.

Alright the tank has cleared up and you can actually see the scape now, Note the high tech lighting i'm using until i get my Led's

Nice scape Bill...That lighting is perfect! you should be able to grow anything with that. Just watch out for bleaching. :bounce:

Thanks guy's it actually looks better in real time as the photo does not catch the depth well, But you all can judge for yourself at the October meeting at my place.
