So just took delivery of my DSA 200 pro and Im in a little need of some help for the plumbing.

Currently have 3 herbie style dursos....not fitted in the overflow yet.

This tank has 2 returns as well.

I need a reference picture from anyone who has the 3 drain 2 return style overflow.....not sure how to setup the standpipes

All advice is appreciated

Ian

All help here would be greatly appreciated....Can anyone recommend the height settings on the drain dursos.

I have 2 drains going to sump socks and 1 drain to refugium.

Also the return pump is a wavelike 10000 dc adjustable with a manifold for reactors later on.

I don't have valves on the 2 sump drains only 1 valve on refugium drain.

once i get the plumbing setup i will be doing an RO/DI fill for leak checks and functioning.

I have all the electrics to do...this will be 3x radion 30w pros, 2 x battery backups and a full Apex gold with 2x EB8, Ecotech module, leak detector module and auto feeder. Also 2 x MP40ES for water movement. Lights will be mounted with Ecotech RMS

I like to run them as high as possible. The lower they are the farther the water has to fall and makes more noise. The third is usually used for safety incase the other two fail and the tank starts to over fill. It can be a straight piece of pipe a little higher than the two stand pipes.

I like to install these telescoping couplings from Lowes or Home depot in the stand pipes. That way you can adjust them up or down as needed.

Im also looking at getting that same tank from DSA. Do you mind if I PM you with a couple of questions. Thx

I love my DSA 105. I'm guessing they drilled 3 drain holes so you can run a bean animal overflow. My overflow only has 2 holes so I run a herbie and the tank is so quiet.

If you have knowledge of how to run a bean animal that's what I'd do. It's an easy fix

Update!.

So mocked up the Bean setup for my tank.

Will this work.....height measurements are roughly as advised

The emergency goes to the refugium section.

Full siphon to sump....need to add the valve below bulkhead

Open channel to sump sock 2.

Need to add some couplings extend drain pipes in socks.

All help appreciated
