Thanks @Dsnakes ! I have kept the mini maxis up on the rock away from the sand. I personally never lost a fish to them.

Is your serpent star out during the day? If so, what kind is it?

Yeah they come out when I feed, otherwise tucked in the rocks. I’m not sure the specific type, I believe it was called a Caribbean Serpent Star when purchased. One from reef cleaners and one from pacific east aquaculture.

As far as photos, I use the aquarium app.

Someone on R2R developed it and it works pretty good.
