dsps from thailand......enough said!!!

This is a private tank. Wow. It looks like a city aquarium set-up. I can't imagine what the costs would be for something like this. My tiny 29 gallon keeps me broke. thanks for the video links.

too sterile looking for me. very impressive equipment. Needs more fish nice coral collection

This is my favorite set up of all time. I remember when I seen the first post of this tank on RC I feel in love with this tank.

Man, I bet picking up a coral on the bottom that got knocked over is a bit of a pain. :)

That is beautiful.

I'm sure he's got someone for that lol. He's got like three different tanks hooked up to it. His NPS tank is awesome.

Lets appreciate the beauty of the video and the hobby rather than the envy of income, thanks.

the only thing I can think is stuff is very cheap in Thailand.....
Some day when a Vegas casino does me right I will have a system that compares to it... Lol
but I would build it all the tank, skimmer, the house it sits in etc... Lol lol

Ahahaha you'd probably want grafted corals - that you grafted yourself

I have followed Ching Chai's build and thread since the beginning. It is an incredible build, that is for sure. It is also nice to know that he makes the same mistakes as we do.

Chingchai Uekrongtham (a.k.a. "Ching") is the man! He's super enthusiastic about the hobby, knows the ins and outs of pretty much everything reefing, and is willing to share with anyone and everyone. I have two friends that have been to Thailand and visited Ching... he showed them his tanks, the tanks at his reef club and several awesome LFS, not to mention served them amazing Thai food (yum!) and great wine (Ching is a vino head ;) ).

Ching is extremely knowledgeable about the hobby, and basically brought the notion of sustainably housing Acropora sp. to the country of Thailand. When he first started (and for the most part now) he has to import much of his stock from Hong Kong and surrounding areas. He started and runs the Siam Reef Club, and is known by hobbyists in Thailand as "The Godfather" :D

For further drooling, you can check out his previous aquarium that won RC TOTM in May, 2008: Tank of the Month - May 2008 - Reefkeeping.com

This aquarium was purchased by one of his "followers" and he's done an amazing job setting it up as well.

No doubt Chings tank will be TOTM on several sites at some point, and well deserving.
