I brought myself a dsuny 36" led lighting unit for my innovative Marine nuvo 24, at the time I didn't realise there was two options. After realising I'm wondering you thoughts if to change it of to a full spectrum, I can easily change them as I have ordered the correct LED's but I'm in two minds whether to or not. I'm looking to keep mainly sps and lps, what do you think i have a couple of pictures of the layout and which ones I have to change. Thanks justin

i have five 36" dsuny's in my garage all burned out from last year if you want them. just pay shipping.

What happened to them how long did they last?

they were good for about 4 months. then the first lost a channel. then it lost the other 3.

30 days later another burned out.
30-60 days later another.

the first one i replaced by talking to cindy and oliver and paying 110 to get the new unit in.

you also get the awesome 100% all channels randomly on with your purchase too.

i think one is apart with the spares sent from china... the one on my wife's 40 intermittently works

I only have a small 100ltr innovative Marine nuvo 24, it's only a shallow wide nano tank. I just started it off..

Thanks for the offer, I live in the uk. Hopefully the lights will last but I have my doubts.. Have you got any pictures of your tank?

havent cleaned it in a while but w/e. all corals grown from 1' frags so they still gotta grow in. ;)

good thing about a bigger tank is you dont run out of room in 3 months (unless you buy colonies)

Cool tank I'm just trying to keep it small i had a tank 5yrs ago 5x2x2 and it was hard work so I'm going to try and keep it small.

nice when its clean and shiney new eh?

yeah. bigger tanks are kinda a hassle but they are worth it imo. just take a bit longer to fill out ime

I got the dsuny LEDs, I got them from the uk distributer as he will repair or replace all the components under warranty.

I'm just not sure what I should set the channels to and how powerful? I do like blue looking tanks. I don't have full spectrum

I've programmed mine now as the lunar was too bright and I've let the tank sleep, if you look in the manual there is a chart with the details of the percentage and time. I followed that and tanks seems OK, starts up like sunrise and ends in the evening dimming down to moon light off at nine. The chart was for the vivid setting but the percentages were about right when I entered the option apart from off time which I extended.
