I have dsuny leds. I really like them. They have been great for me. I really like the ability to set them up the way you need them to run. I was wondering who else uses them and what do they think?

I have never heard of them but just quickly Google them.

Look pretty nice for the price.

Got any pics, settings or par readings?

Does the controller allow you a lot of functionality?

Let's see a picture over the tank? Might be a good option for a frag setup I'm working on.

I leaned how to work it off of you tube. I am not familiar with any other leds so I can't compare. I believe that they have good function for the light.

It looks like more than the DSUNY units in that canopy. What is it?

I also have two reef bright strips. Only the top one works. The bottom one I need to get another power brick for it. I was trying too get rid of shadows. The ones that are at diagonal are my moon leds.

What setting do you have the DSunY at. I am trying to get the program set up correctly. I tried the Winter and the corrals went brown. I had them on Vivid, but they looked like they are wilting.

Just wondering if you have them custom programmed or use one of the standard settings.

I have a 100 Gal tank that is 20 " deep. I have three lights and they are 8" above the lid.

Thanks you very much. This is by far way lower than the Spring and Winter numbers. Similar on Moon Phase.

Yes and I believe that I have made more adjustments from there, going down not up. I have mostly softies in tank I do have torches and had gamers. I also have a nem in the tank. I believe that they will grow about anything if your water is good.

On my tank they are about 4 to 5 inches above water and tank is about 22 inches deep.

I was hoping the lights are doing good and I wanted to give you the setting s of where I have them now. Hope this helps.

Thanks that is really low. I have them at 50% and they are looking better. I can try it, and see what they do.

What does coral look like if it is too cool?

Yeah I will have to see how things react. Right now looking good. I am fighting with a algae bloom., so that's not fun. I like the color of it. The corals seem to be good too.

After backing down from purchasing the unit, I decided to get a T50 single unit to test out. I finally received the LEDS. There are a few points to be considered as far as quality and engineering.

after turning the LEDS on, I realized the WIFI feature no longer works or available. (not a big deal). it would be very helpful to make quick changes and not having to worry about one more hardware to find a space for...

mounting options: I found the option to mount it pretty straight forward; steel cables for hanging, its not the best, and is for the DIY type of guy.. they do have a bracket option that is available at an extra cost.

Overall Design of Case. All aluminum case, and stainless steel cord joints going to power cables.
i would say that its rust proof, and maybe splash proof. Has T slot across the entire center top of the housing for easy mounting options, and holes at the end of each corner and centers for hanging option, and fan mounting option

I have a 20" High tank, and i have the lights mounted 11" from the water. it seems to be the best height as far as spread. Looking at the blending of the colors, I believe it is a matter of having the LEDS placed evenly across the board instead of having the white LEDS all in one on the very first row, as far as engineering and having the colors blend evenly....dsuny got some work to do.

the chrome reflectors should be white to reduce the discoball effect, it causes too much shadowing as well, I found an opaque plexiglass, and just cut it to size and installed it over the current plastic cover, the difference was INCREDIBLE!!! now the colors blend much better, the light being diffused got rid of the shadowing as well .. disco ball effect reduced by 80%

I've yet to decide if I want another LED from Dsuny, to complete the tank. as I have a 48"L x 24D x 20"H Tank needing 2 of the T50 LEDS. I didnt want to get two units not knowing what the quality and performance was going to be in person, you can only see so much online, and hear about what people's experiences were,,,, I found a great deal of mixed reviews, so i only got one unit.

WARRANTY WARNING: as many of you have read on this forum as I have, It is the minimal of support!! sometimes none unless you stay persistent and follow through. fixing the unit is all on YOU,, as returning the unit to china is not an option. They will guide you on opening the unit and figuring out what part/s you need to replace, and send you the parts, if your lucky... if the unit is not worth fixing and its within the warranty period, they will offer you a replacement unit at 1/2 the cost. If you dont have any soldering experience, I suggest you get yourself a soldering iron and learn if you are considering on sticking to these LEDS as your main source of lighting.

FYI, my tank is 5 weeks old, this is the first actual light im installing on it. Im running a custom schedule and so im running my lights at less than 80% at peak, I will rent/buy a PAR meter to adjust the channels according to my reef scape.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
besides having to make some minimal adjustment to the light, i would have to use it for some time to give you my honest opinion. I would have to follow through on the forum and let you guys know how it goes. I would say not to run these lights over 80% due to the warranty being so minimal. don't get excited about getting these lights, and get them if your curious or are on a budget. the T50 unit is 19" L x 4.5" W 1.5" H

Here are some pics of the light, diffused, and not diffused.
