Hello everyone on the forum!

I have been stalking on R2R for over a year and this will be my first ever post. Learned some useful QT process from several posts and it is now my turn to ask the question.

I have a 100 gallon display tank + 30 gallon sump with 100 lbs rocks and mostly LPS running a year now. Since last September, I got a yellow eye kole tang from a local fish store with potentially velvet and almost got wiped out my whole fish population since I didn't run QT at that time. I got remaining two fishes (a juvenile formosa wrasse and flame hawk fish) out for tank transfer method and QT till the end of 78 days fallow period. The fallow period ended last November and I started to add fish back with every new acquired fish on TTM plus 3 ~ 4 weeks of observation time in QT tank after TTM, except for the last addition: Powder Blue Tang who had only been in observation QT (no TTM) for 5 weeks (treated with two rounds of prazipro) with no sign of ich or any parasite. After adding that PBT into the DT for 2 weeks, he started to show ich symptom.

My fish list in display tank is below:
4 inch formosa wrasse
flame hawk
a pair of snow flake clown
4 inch midas blenny
3.5 inch blue tang
4 inch powder blue tang

Newly acquired fish from last week and is now in QT (without TTM nor medication)
5 inch magnificent fox face
white tail bristletooth tang

With only PBT shows sign of ich but no other visible sign of ich on any other fishes. The ich on PBT is in a come and go situation. He sometimes has no ich in 2 weeks and started to show several spots after I changed powerhead position/or blow off some debris on the rock... Now I am starting to plan another fallow period but have some questions...

My currently owned QT/TTM equipment:

A 20 gallon Innovative Marine all in one tank which I had it for observation period after TTM for small fishes. It is currently running fishless for 40 days.

A 30 gallon long (36" x 15" x 13") with fluval largest size HOB filled with ceramic rings and filter pads, plus a vortec MP10. This tank is currently hosting the foxface and the white tail tang.

Several 10 gallons for TTM, with several sets of airpump/airstone/heater on demand.

The plan is :

1. Scooping 1 or 2 fish at a time and do the TTM. TTM will take several runs till I scoop out all my fish in DT.
2. Also TTM the Fox Face and White Tail that are currently in the QT.
3. Sanitize the QT and set it back again, waiting for hosting the fishes at end of TTM.
3. Spread out the fishes after TTM to 20 and 30 gallon QT.

Here comes the questionnaire part. I am planning to have Blue Tang + PBT + Fox Face + White Tail Tang + paired clown in the 30 gallon for 78 days fallow period. Is it possible? I am planning to have other 20 gallon all in one to host wrasse, flame hawk and midas blenny. Or is there other ways to spread out the fish into these two tanks? Buying another QT is not an option since I am running out of space for fish tank...

Thanks.

You might put the smallest tang or the pair of clowns in the 20 with the other fish. Probably best to split up the tangs a bit to cut down on possible aggression.

@melypr1985 It is a clever thought! My PBT shows no aggression to my Blue Tang in my DT since I introduced them... But your suggestion is a possible way that I can think of since who knows those three tangs would become in the 30 gallon tank.

Another side question. While I start the TTM, is it ok to have three 10 gallons tank side by side? These three tanks will start the same TTM schedule.

Normally I would say no, but all these fish are coming from the same display and starting at the same time, so they should have all the same problems. It should be ok, but not ideal. You may add in an extra transfer just to be on the cautious size.
