hello reefers

What is your dts meter reads after your membrane and your final result?
Mine is reading 12 after membrane and 0-1 at the end. The reason I asked, because my friend has his 3 after membraine and 0 at the end. Is my dts meter needs a calibration? Any idea?
Note: just replaced all the filters, membrane (DOW brand)
TIA

Mine reads 6 after membrane, 0 after di resin.
You should get 0 after di, if you are not it is either depleted or possibly not packed properly so as to allow channeling.

The reading after the membrane can be misleading, if considered by itself.

You should measure the TDS out of the ATO, and calculate what percentage your membrane is removing.
For instance if someone is getting 6 after membrane, and the tap tds was 700 it would be 99% rejection. If the tap tds was 200 it would be a 97% rejection. So long as your above 95% rejection your membrane should be fine, but the higher rejection percentage you can get, the longer the di resin will last.

Water pressure and temperature out of the tap will also factor into the rejection rate.

Also, a handheld tds meter will generally be more accurate than one of the inline types.

So here is mine. Tap is 431
After membrane: 12
(12x100)/431 = 2.8
So it's 97.2% rejection.
Also, I didn't not use DI resin, I am using stage 5 carbon polish filter. Should I switch to DI resin?
Thanks,

Yes switch to do. The carbon finish is for drinking water to make it taste better
