I used the barrels to add 90g of extra capacity to the system and to aid in water changes.
I have thought of using them as tumbler and/or to hold a bit more rock as well…

I've never ran a tumbler, I was just kind of wondering. Extra rock would be a good use for sure.

I’ve started the cycle with microbacter 7

Thoughts on if I should feed the cycle once a day?

Tiny buttons on the side of the lights and I’m “all thumbs”…

The cycle has come along fine with zero ammonia, and a touch of nitrite and a bit more of nitrate

Never used smartfarm so I'm no help with that. Glad to see they are full and making progress.

They seem to work fine when I use any of the presets…in this case LPS…
But can’t make them work with any custom settings I input…
not yet anyway…

In my experience you may not have selected the mode you set. You might want to go to youtube and search for SMATFARM g3 operation videos, their product operation logic is the same.
