DUAL INLINE TDS METER DM-1

I tested my ro h2o today
Readout says ---1 or so it looks like.
Hoping that means less than 1 ppm tds

Can anyone confirm?

That certainly is possible. In the winter I typically run 1 TDS in RO water

Ive tested the meter in tap h2o @230-250
Im more concerned about reading if its just 1 or an error

I think I see what your saying.....your meter shows "---1" However, a reading of 1 should read " 0001"

I'm at a loss....I don't have that brand. It states it's dual....what does the other sensor show?

I'll also put this out to the #reefsquad

First - welcome to R2R! Glad you found us for help on this.

The "---" display is part of the unit's boot-up display. It's supposed to go away once the unit is fully on, however...
Have you tried removing the battery, waiting 30s, and then replacing the battery? Might also want to try a new battery.

It seems like it's reading correctly, but I'd still suggest getting it replaced if possible. Where did you get the meter from?
