Show em off!!! I wanna see the stand alone fuges and dual sumps out there.

Im trying to come up with ideas on running a split filter system for max volume.

Bump

here is what I was planning to do behind the tank I will put up next year, please don't mind the kindergarten rendering as I am just toying with the idea at the moment.

So basically the overflow on the tank will be a bean animal style overflow and go into the top sump which flows into the bottom sump and then returns to the tank.

Here’s mine.

Have a basement sump fed by 1” drain and 1.5” trickle/emergency.

1” is split 50/50 between mechanical filtration, Clarisea then skimmer/UV to pump return. The other half goes to a fuge, sand bottom, some rock and half a dozen macro algae’s and Mangroves, it then drains into the return chamber

Sort of based on Melevs design

Anyway old pics. Have since added a Ca reactor and media reactors plumbed externally.
