Dual Tanks - Basement Refugium

Piping continues through the floor/ceiling down to the basement. The drain line is 1" and return is 3/4".

Equipments: Two-part dose (DOS) + Magnesium (BRS). 32 Gallon Brute for RO/DI. A pair of Tom water pumps connected to JBJ ATO. Reef Octopus INT-150 Classic. 1/10 HP JBJ Arctica chiller.

Bio-balls in first chamber. Chaeto in second. I don't have a good refugium light yet.

Took a while to figure out a way to get rid of annoying sump drain air bubbles. I tried several fixes before settling on the above solution. I simply put the unused top-off reservoir tank where its supposed go and directed the drain lines in the direction of the filter socks. Works beautifully! Still have bubbles, but they're now contained below the top-off tank.

As you can see above, I didn't leave much room behind the tank. Kessil arms would not have fit.
