Ducan Help

I been stop feeding him, nothing much is happening. Do you think I should move him up more? He is almost on the sand bed.

You can but don’t move to far up . I have 2 Duncan’s 1 is off the sand maybe just below mid tank the second is on the sand bed . They are both doing well in my opinion. Good luck

They look great! Mine are completely retracted . I moved it down again to the sand bed but at a different location. I hope they start coming out. The main base is losing its color and 1 polyp is almost gone. so I’m assuming it’s just dieing .

Unfortunately my coral is dieing. He is now 2/3 gone :( I moved him up and down and tried target feeding but no go... I guess Ill have to try a new one down the road.

So sorry to hear about your Duncan. Corals can be so frustrating. I had a branching hammer that did good for a week or two than suddenly did a full on polyp bail-out. I recently decided to give it another go and got a different species. An Aussie Reverse Stem Hammer I believe and it's doing great.

mine is on sand bed as well with moderate flow. I maybe feed my every couple of weeks with cut up frozen krill. New heads poping out all the time.
