Duel mp10 power heads ???

I have a reefer 170 , got duel mp10 power heads , I have only lps coral in the tank ( no spa) and a clam , what kinda of schedule and power percentage should I run them at ??

When some one comments on a thread it "bumps" it back to the top of the thread list in forum. More people are likely to see it on page 1 than on page 2, 3 etc.

Sorry, I do not have any advise on the mp10s.

I would run them at a 20-30% short pulse or reef crest. You don’t need a ton of flow with lps, just a gentle breeze

Ok awesome ! Thank you , I currently have them at 40 so I’ll bring them down a bit and see how they do

Let your corals tell you what they want. If they are moving so harshly that their flesh is scraping on their skeletons, that's too much. Maybe they are being blown wildly about so they are retracting. On the flip side, if you don't feel like they are moving at all, they probably need more.

Ok yeah I’ll definitely kee an eye on them for the next couple days and see how they like it , I put the pumps down to 35 to see how they do

40% on reef crest anti-sync is good idea for LPS specially if you have torchs need abit more movement. Hope this help
