Not sure if this is the proper location within the CTARS forum, but I figured I would start my build thread here!
I've set up two RedSea Reefer 250s. One is a mixed reef and the other is a macro algae focused build. I'm still getting everything organized after the LOOOOONG transfer from my SCA 66, but it's getting there.
Miscellaneous info:
Reef tank:
Lighting: ATI/Nanobox hybrid, currently running a blue plus, coral plus, Fiji purple and Gieseman 6500K for t5s
Filtration: filter socks and NYOS Quantum 160
Media: running carbon in an IM desktop reactor and have a brightwell xport biobrick in the sump
Heater: Finnex titanium somethingorother
Circulation: two jebao pp4s
Return pump: Sicce syncra 2.0
Fish: Midas Blenny (Bert), Copperband Butterfly (Buzz), One-spot Foxface (Magellan), Blue chromis (Blue), two glass cardinals, neon goby (Skoby), Coris wrasse (Big bird), Bangaii cardinal
Macro algae tank:
Lighting: ATI/nanobox flare hybrid, currently running two coral plus t5s
Filtration: macro algae - no socks, no skimmer
Media: carbon passively and a brightwell biobrick
Heater: finnex titanium
Circulation: two jebao pp4s
Return: Sicce syncra 2.0
Fish: Red mandarin, hitchhiker goby, bi-color blenny, melanurus wrasse, bristletail filefish

I can't wait for the tank ugliest stage to pass in my macro tank. Dealing with diatoms and cyano at the moment.
