I’m using a Duetto Dual Sensor ATO in my IM Lagoon 25. It works great and doesn’t take up much space which was the goal.

My dumb question is that anytime I do any maintenance in my rear chambers (ie pull the InTank insert up to change out the filter floss being most common) the water level in the rear adjusts and the ATO fires up to top it back off. I’ve just been turning off the ATO before I do things but of course forgot to turn it back on yesterday. Wasn’t sure if there is a better way to solve for this inconvenience.

I unplug for maintenance too
I have a tag on cabinet door I hang that says remember ATO
I have to touch tag to close the door so I never forget

The pause button would be awesome. I love that feature on my return pump so I don’t forget to turn it back on after feeding.

been trying to avoid an apex as that’s so expensive

Easiest and cheapest route is like @vetteguy53081 stated, a nice note somewhere so you don't forget lol

For sure. It’s a new tank so I’m still getting accustomed with it. Our other tank is a BioCube and I never setup an ATO as it barely has any evaporation so it’s a new maintenance step.

I wrote, ”ATO” with a Sharpie, on my Syphon hoses, as I would forget to unplug it when doing a water change. Since I go through filter changes, unplugging my Skimmer to clean the Cup, etc. I check all the plugs. I try to do the same sequence each time.
