Finding these brown spots popping up here and there. Is this beginning stage of diatoms?

thanks!

prob not diatoms. Do you have fish? Do you use rodi water? Im thinking of cyano. Diatoms need silica or ammonia, which shouldnt be present since your tank is cycled. Silica comes in tap water.

need pictures under white lights. To blue to tell anything.

I have 2 clown fish and yes use RODI

Still fairly blue honestly can’t tell. You will need to learn to get good white pictures for any troubleshooting on here so hopefully you can figure out something to help. Orange glasses or adjusting colour balance may help. I know for this it’s not a big deal but if you actually run into issues you don’t want to be figuring out how to get a good white light picture then.

I ordered lenses for my phone that should be here in a week or so.

What are your parameters and flow. it might help top post a a full tank shot as well. :)

you can turn off tank lights and use an average flashlight
Lol not sure why I didn’t think of that one. This will definitely be the best until op gets a lens kit.

Personally, I don't think that phosphate is anything to be concerned about. Seems like to me, your tank is just going through the normal early stages... I'm not an expert thought, so I'll let other weigh in.

I’d say the same.
Tank is young and doing anything extreme will just make it harder down the line. I wouldn’t do anything unless the algae gets out of control.
Best to start building up your CUC.
