Dumb question, can a large mushroom eat a fish

My perc is missing. Last we saw him he was around the mushroom. Now he is gone Thanks

Yes but how big is the mushroom ? I highly doubt it ate it
The fish would have to be dead and fall into the mushroom or swim right into it

What kind of mushroom? Elephant ears are known to eat fish.

I do not know what kind it is. It's about 5" across.

Yeah that didn’t eat the clown. Check around the tank could have jumped if you have any pets they could have ate him once it he carpet surfed. If you have a lid check overflow or for small openings in the lid dost have to be big for it to fit through

My clown jumped and landed in the exterior overflow box. Happened right in front of me. Now I'm making a lid, and using eggcrate temporarily.

If a fish died bristle worms and snails can consume it over night
