Dumb questions about Fiji sump

Unpacked my sump tonight for a new build and have dumb questions lol.

which side does the bulkhead gasket go? On top of sump or into sump?

is this foam just packing material? It wasn’t packed around anything

what is the piece on the right for? Looks like it goes in the return chamber. For the heater brackets, how do you fasten heaters to it? Looks like maybe an o ring or something in the little grooves?

The blue piece on the left is for horizontal heater placement and the one on the right is for vertical placement. Toss the foam. Gasket on flange side.

Thanks! I wondered if it was for vertical heater placement but seemed too high up in the chamber. How do you keep the heaters in place with the horizontal placement?

looks like some type of silicone ring should be wrapped around the plastic into those two slits

Yes, that’s the only thing I can think of too

I use 2 Jager's horizontally and have my ATO tube sticking down the vertical heater hole.
