I was cleaning my tank today and was going to put in my last bit of saltwater and then a bunch of crystalline flakes swirled around in the water.

Will it kill may tank??

Not great. I'd worry about any coral where the salt settles. Do what you can to keep that from happening.

It should dissipate pretty quick, so as long as it's not a large amount, you are probably Ok. Take a peek at your salinity in a bit though, as you may have introduced more salt than you intended...

Sounds like every one got it covered. Only thing I would say if it is a lot of salt some may predicate out if it reaches the point of saturation and make the water cloudy.

Things should be fine as all mentioned that unless you SG is crazy high. Let us know

I did immediately blow it off my frags.

So far my sg Went up to 1.027 maybe 1.028. Not too horrible.

Gonna drain a bit of water and allow the top off to fill the tank over the next couple of days.
