Dumping on the great barrier reef!!

Thanks for the post Phill, I hope everyone that reads the article signs the WWF petition.
 
The dredging for this project was approved in November 2011. Don't you think that these fanatics could have gotten 20,000 signatures in over two years? Maybe because what they're saying isn't true. What about the Australians, don't you think they would have signed if this was true?

Dump a drop of sand in your tank on the far right side tell me what happens. Now times that by 30 metric tons bet the currents carry it all over parts of the reef...
Earlier this month, 233 scientists signed a letter to GBRMPA urging it to reject the plan, and environmental groups condemned the decision.
"This go-ahead for dumping is one more body blow for the reef, which further threatens marine life, its World Heritage status and Australia's tourism and fishing industries," Greenpeace Reef Campaigner Louise Matthiesson. This was also decided bu there prime minister and not anyone else. He is also opening up some of the rainforest for logging..
