Duncan’s and candy cane dying?

Looks like both of these corals are receding. Any advice? They’ve always done great and everything else in the tank is doing awesome
There is a mini max carpet nem below them but not touching them whatsoever. Not sure if that changes anything

Do you have alot of spirobids... Do you see anything on candy cane (not sure of name) on the trunk when it's closed... like algae or these white spots from your photos? Are these recent photos

Those are white spots on the coral. Just noticed those as u pointed them out

If it is spirobids they are a nuisance in numbers, they are tough to remove... Just Google Spirorbis, great filter feeders but the shell is a leftover problem, anything else like abit of algae on candy cane 'trunk' to irratate/tickle

these are all over the back of my glass. Is this a problem? How do I get rid? And is the candy cane coral done for? Thanks

Yes I have similar problem with them. No your candy cane or others are not done for, I think they just getting abit irrated/ annoyed.
I'm unsure how to remove Spirorbis off soft tissue of coral but a soft/baby grade toothbrush will be great to start if possible I assume as 'trunk' is soft/fleshy so they don't have a good grasp/hold so hopefully this will work.

Hard surface areas like glass you can remove Spirorbis with algae scrapers, especially razor blades, other equipment you can clean independently, I use back end of toothbrush to scrape off as much as possible
