Nice and looking healthy. Ok, in my case, i used to frag my duncans when the heads turns a bit matured. Therefore their stem would grow a bit much longer and survival rates are promising.

Ok. I was wondering because the middle heads won't expand and it's been like that for going on 3 days

My duncans are a bit weird as well. These mini colony are sometimes closed for a few days every week. Sometimes it will stay half opened for the whole week and well expanded on other days.

These all started from 1 tiny head a few months ago.

They are very hardy as well. I feed my tank with oyster's eggs mix in marine snow + zeofood once a week. Few days after feeding the tank, these duncans will excrete dark murky liquid from their mouth. Probably waste and then they will fully expand for a few days and will go back to their weird routine until I feed again.

As long as they are not melting or darkening, they should be fine. Let them thrive and mature a bit before fragging.

Good luck with your healthy looking Duncan.
