Hey all. I'm wondering about duncan care? I'd like to try a head or two out in my 10 gallon nano, but I want to make sure I've got what they need figured out first.
--How much light? [I've got 20 watts of PCs on the tank...]
--Feeding?
--Anything else I should know?

Thanks!

What other corals do you have in your tank? Id say if you can keep things like frogspawn or candy canes you should be good. They don't require feeding, but will likely grow a little faster if you do feed them.

frogspawn, yes, candycanes, no. which was one of the reasons i was worried about lighting.

i grabbed a single head from a friend and i have it midway under 150w metal halides mild current and i feed it 2 times a week with flake food or cut silver sides and even brine shrimp just what ever, but the point im making is after having it for 6 months its 4 inches tall with 7 heads and the each new head has a stem an inch long, i have cut back to 1 feeding a week dont want to make it to bushy lol if you get one start at the bottom of your tank with it and work your way to the top week by week till you can tell that its in its happy spot.

Mine does well under medium light and medium flow. They will grow faster if you feed them. They will get big fast.

They can take pretty heavy duty flow, so long as it is random, and switching.

As far as light goes - I would say medium/low. I think they will work in your tank.

I feed mine as much as possible. They now take big chunks of table shrimp. Love it, and grow super fast despite low light in that area of the tank (bottom 1/3 of a 125g with 2x 250w mh and 2x 160w VHO @4300nm.

My experience, Medium to High flow, Medium to Low light. Super hardy coral. I have never fed mine directly and I started with 8 heads.
