Hey guys, THANKS IN ADVANCE TO WHOMEVER READS THIS!!
- - My Duncan coral has been closed for 3 days straight now. I had it directly under the light and it was doing fine. I then watched a vid that said that they prefer dimmer lights. So I moved it into a slightly dimmer area. It stayed closed for several hours so I moved it to another area to see if it liked there better. It was still closed for another several hours. Then I finally moved it back to its original spot and now it has been closed for 3 days. Not bleaching from what I see, it has just been shriveled and closed. Normally how it is during the night, but now it is all day AND night. No pic necessary cuz it’s not too complicated- it’s closed.

Sometimes it's best to listen to our tanks and not others opinions. If it was doing good under bright light there was no reason to move it in the first place, it was happy. Corals don't like getting moved around and it is probably stressed out, best to leave it be, it isn't unheard of to have them close up for days at a time.
