So I just watched the tidal gardens video on Duncan coral and their Duncan’s polyps were al stretched out and flowy like a torch coral. Does anyone know why mine looks like little stubs? Or how to make it look more opened up?

He looks like this now. Was originally a single small head that was a freebie from aquasd

Time. Once they settle in they will open fully. They like to be left alone. My shrimp close them up walking oveethem during feeding or when I pass the glass cleaner in front of them too aggressively. They retract much easier than the other LPS I have.

Mine are the same and have been that way for 8 months. Hasn’t phased them as one frag grew 5 more heads

Those look small but they don't look closed. If they are recently fragged relatively new heads they may not have grown out yet. My new heads are about 50-60% smaller than the established heads.
