Duncan never fully extended since I got it at my lfs about 5 weeks ago.. today I noticed that the green skeleton is browning out and falling off. My other corals are great.. hammers are splitting, torches are extended but my Duncan isn't doing well.. would it possibly be to much light? Or not enough flow?
Parameters
Nitrate 12
Phospate .06
Mag 1400
Cal 430
Alk 8.0
Thanks in advance.

Mag slightly high (1300-1350)
Moderate light and water flow, feed 2-3x per week (mysis shrimp) and add aminos occasionally
Assure phosphate not elevated

I wouldn't change anything. Sometimes corals come in bad and lose a few polyps. remember these are colonial animals. In the wild one of their behaviors is to recede and reclaim those resources to put them somewhere more productive. It is not necessarily indicative of overall poor health. Let them adapt and be patient. moving them makes the energy they used to adapt to the initial placement go to waste and reset that process.

What type of flow and par? How did it look at the lfs? Your numbers are fine. They can handle Modereate to moderate heavy flow

I wouldn't try to feed a coral that is looking bad. You could try to cut flow and dust it with some mysis see if it captures any but thats the extent of a feeding.

Hi have a coral it’s growing heads. Now has 7. But when I went to move it I noticed something on the bottom. Please see image. Should I be worried?!
