Hello y’all! I’ve watched and read threads on this site for a couple years now and it just dawned on me to create an account.

I have a question I cannot seem to get an answer on. It looks like some tentacles on my Duncan are dying, possibly? Has anyone run across this before?

I have experienced something similar with torches, nothing concerning should go away in a few days

It looks a little retracted, certainly not dying. It even has baby heads growing.

It could be in a bad mood, maybe something touched it, who knows. Mine goes into bad moods for a day sometimes, always back the next day. I would just monitor but not worry.

I ended up doing a 25% water change. I tested the water again prior and the nitrites were a bit on the high side. Looks much better today!!!!

Mine rarely do this. Assure salinity and nitrate and phosphate not elevated. Also feed 2-3X per week. I feed mine mysis shrimp.

How many heads did you have when you bought that? It looks amazing!!
I believe I had an issue with nitrates.
Started with 4 and now 23
