I rescaped my tank few days back and put my Duncan on the side of a rock the top half that’s in the light is out the bottom half is in the shadow and stays closed up. Is this due to no lighting should I move it around to where all can get lighting. Someone. The bottom half comes out for a bit and closes back up.

It could be light but I doubt it. Given the shape of the colony the bottom half should be getting less light all the time. It could just be that it's still a little mad about being moved or it could be a difference in flow in the new area.

I've found duncans to be very tolerant of different conditions. I would just keep an eye on it for now. I bet it will get back to normal soon.

Mine get grouchy too and pout when bothered. Just leave it be for a week. If it's still not happy, readjust. It may be the different flow in the new area too.
