I was feeding my corals today and when I fed my Duncan Coral I noticed it shot out a web like strands out. I wanted to know if this is normal and why do they do it.

What did you feed it? Some corals produce a slime/mucous that they use to reel in their food. I notice this more when feeding something like reef roids or other powdered foods.

That is exactly what I fed it. Reef Roids
