Hello fellow reefer,

10 degrees !!! Everything should be dead so yeah that could be the reason.
You say a couple weeks what's the temp of the tank now? and what did it spike to?
What temp do you maintain the tank? And what is your method of temp control?

Your alk is also high and trates and calcium low but i would focus on keeping that temp in check first and foremost

Okay thanks boss ill keep feeding it. Ill try to lower it any suggestions for that, that could help?

Mytenp went to 88
Im suprised my birds nest isnt the issue
Im pretty sure my cousin turnes the nob when i had her over looking at the tank -_-
Idk didnt matter its went that way for a week and half
I have a temp gauge on the side nothing special yet.

Fritz
Biggest box i can find so far
Any better salts

Oh no sorry to hear that tell People to keep there hands off your tank!
Temp controller is very important in this hobby and is a wise investment, can get one for comparable money to some of the frags your gonna be buying yourself soon im sure.

Good luck

Also how quickly did you add everything? A 5 month old tank sounds like you got a lot quickly. You might not have given yourself enough time to cycle. What other cord do you have in the tank? What is your lighting and water flow like mine like med-low flow and med light using a kessil a360w

My tank cycled for 2 month and i tested stuff and no ammonia or nitirtes so iwent with clowns and some CUC
Resently added the 2 new fish

Now coral has been one every week or so
I didnt know how much or little.so just been cruising i have a wave maker, sump pump and for some reason when i started i put a 30g in tank filters which i need to rip out.

Idk my light its to cheaper lights but my birds nest is one of my older corals and grown so much so i assume the two lights do good
