Duncan coral tissue recession, need some help/advice!

So I've had some tissue recession in my duncan I've monitored over the last couple months. Parameters have been good (posted below) and the only thing I can think of might be lighting and flow (I was messing with those for some algae outbreaks early spring, dumb I know)

Could these issues cause recession and show skeletal structure? The first two pictures are from about 2 months ago and recession has now cut off that small head in the front and doubled along the thin area on the right side of the images.

The coral gets hit with flow from this right side and it's about midway up in the tank, may move it to the sand down in the following pictures.

The colony is probably growing upward and outward in a dome fashion

Thats what I was first thinking but didn't think it would pull up past some existing polyps. Had it for over a year and this is the first I've seen this kind of thing with it

I dont think it's the Calc or Mag as I've had basically those same levels since Jan of 2020 and this has only started in the last couple months. All of my other corals are doing great, growing and bright as ever.

I redirected the powerhead on the right side of the tank to give more indirect flow instead of "blasting" it. I use that term loosely though as it definitely wasn't sitting in direct path just had some more movement than I felt comfortable with...who knows lol

I'll look into slowly working it down over the next year lol.
