are duncans a easy coral? i have 2 23 watt abi tuna blues and i plan to get a reallasy 300w led light.

My duncans have grown like weeds in my tanks. They prefer low-med/low light and flow. I just stick the plug in the sand and watch it grow heads. It's gone from 2 tiny heads to too many heads to count in a year.

Duncan’s are great! Not hard to care for at all. Just some light and once a week give them some reef roids or target feed some frozen food. Had to transfer mine from my nano to my 125g after 6 months.

I think Duncan’s might be one of my favorite coral right now. I’ve been searching for a good colony to add to my tank because my clown loooves it. I bought a $15 one head neon green base duncan maybe a month into having my reef tank and it has started to grow 4 new heads within the last two months.

Yes and no. They can close up and not fully extend for a while. They have care requirements similar to other fleshy lps. So overall not hard, but they are indicators if something is wrong with the water

Duncans are amazing! One of my favorite LPS. Fast growing, cool blue color, movement, hardy, and guests LOVE watching it eat.
