Hi guys, I just want to make sure if my Duncan is growing a new head.
Previously it's doing pretty good and fully extended (at least IMO).
However, about five days ago it's not extending (occasionally it does but not lasts long).

Image: (Sorry I dont know how to insert it correctly)

LIght: AI PRIME 16HD using David Saxby setting running an acclimation mode
Water para:
0 Ammonia
0 Nitrite
Nitrate undetectable
PO4 undetectable
PH: 8.0
CAL: Around 400 ppm
I am using the API test kit so the values are not accurate.

Thank you in advance!

How new is this tank?
Zero nitrates and phosphates is not a good thing. My duncan likes both. Plus it will keep Dinos at bay.
Was this shipped to you, or from a LFS? I personally do not acclimate my corals using the lighting modes. If they are shipped, I put them on a frag rack at the bottom of the glass and move as needed. If they are from a LFS, where I was able to verify lighting, I just put them where they need to be.

Tank is about 3 months.
Duncan has been in my tank for 1.5 months.
My tank is Fluval Evo 13.5, I changed the stock light to AI prime 1 month ago.

I think we found the problem. Even the hardy Duncan needs a bit more mature tank IMO. The lack of nutrients in your tank shows that. You put it in the tank after the tank was up only about 1.5 months. Corals can take weeks to show distress, which is likely why you're seeing problems now.

Will spot feed reef roid or add nutrients help if this is the case?

As mentioned above, overfeed a little to get the nutrient levels up. Careful with reef roids as it could potentially push the needed too far. Whatever you're feeding I would double that and see what happens. Test daily.
