Hi over the past couple of months my duncan started losing heads. It was doing great when I got my new tank about a year ago. Started growing new heads like crazy.

I see some brown stuff in some of the dying heads, possibly brown jelly? Everything else looks ok except I did also lose a torch.

I had an algae issue that I finally just about got under control using gfo that I just took offline.

As of 2 weeks ago
Nitrates ~10
P04 0. Think thats off from the algae
Alk 8.3
Calc 420

Should I do anything to it?

If you have some of the heads that have the brown jelly issue, I would use bone cutters and remove the bad polyps from the good to reduce the likelihood of the disease spreading to the healthy polyps.

Thanks. Im gonna get to it tonight. Got some stuff I need to glue down . Might make a few seperate frags out of this and see what happens.

Hope some new dykes are good enough to cut with. Dont have real bone cutters.
