So I got a new Duncan coral ,it opens up but the tenticals I feel stay retracted . Are they soppose to spread or dose this type stay like this?? Should I put it in higher flow or just leave it

Welcome to R2R, I would just leave it to settle in that spot for a week or so, duncans can be very sulky about being moved.
Ty . I did move it couple times yesterday I new I should.of been paitient. >.< so the tenticals should be more extended when it fully opens

yes, normally they are more extended and thinner...
This is how my duncan looks (a bit too high flow for it, but doesnt seems to bother)

Just dont move it and will be ok

I just took this, I moved mine about a week ago, this head is getting less light and is sulking still. ;)

I think duncans like light, flow and higher nutrients levels...
This a big duncan I had, righ in front of a power head and nearly top of water (under some serious LEDs)
Was a heaven for clowns :)
