Why are the mouths wide open I just got him about 8 hours ago and he was acting fine when I first introduced him

Check you water chemistry including SG, if everything is fine, let the coral acclimate.

I fed mine brine shrimp eariler today he ate a good bit

Just let it chill for a couple weeks to get situated. Lps are moody when moved. He'll be fine.

Duncan is doing good eating well and heads closed up haven't noticed them open again since!
