Duncan coral has been in the 20g for 6 months, started as single head and grew 7 more and has been healthy until recently. Noticed some food stuck in the base and used a small baster to wash it away and this light water pressure cut through one of the heads. Since then the one head gradually covers in slime which is now expanding to the neighboring heads.

Tank always tests at
77.5 deg
7.8 to 8.0ph
1.025 salt
0 nitrates
0 phosphates
8.8 alk

20g mixed reef tank, the water tests no nitrates/phosphate yet it has some green hair and bubble algae growing

No fish 3 trochus, 3 cerith, 1 astrea, 1 tuxedo urchin and a pom pom crab

Picture now vs 6 weeks ago

1) I recommend adding fish to increase the nutrients 0 nutrients is not good, corals need nutrients (phosphate and nitrate).
2) is the slime growing brown? if so it might be brown jelly disease and its sometimes hard for corals to survive it. I recommend dipping the coral and cleaning the infected heads, but make sure that the slime does not fall and end up on another coral.

Frag off the bad head.
