Hey guys,

Came back to visit from college today, and I noticed my duncan looks pretty down. I've had him for a few weeks now and he's been great.

I'm wondering if my anemone could have scratched it because he's been moving around recently... or maybe he's too low in the tank? Flow's too strong?

What is optimal light/flow for a duncan? Anything I can do or should I just wait?

(and don't worry, my father is taking care of my tanks while I'm in college :P )

Thanks,
Will

Howdy! My Duncan likes to go on strike, as long as your perams are stable and it was happy there before don’t do anything. They have a rebel phase. Mine was closed for 3 weeks straight then opened right up and popped out 4 new heads the next week. Duncans are weird, just needs time

My Duncan’s do this all the time. I have had heads closed for days. I would not worry to much about it yet.

My Duncan is my Canary in the mine. If something is off with my parameters, it responds quickly to clue me in. I'd check the water nutrients to see if they are fluctuating.
