Duncan question?

So I am pretty sure that my file fish ate the tentacles off a few of my duncans. My question is will they grow back with enough time?

A new 4 headed duncan I acquired just before I got rid of the file fish has started extending his tentacles soon after i passed him along to a fellow reefer. I discovered he was nibbling on quite a few of my coral. Thanks

Maybe. Yeah, file fish are notorious for this after polishing off any aiptasia...
