Duncan v. Goni

Didn't expect this one. I have a very happy Duncan in a mixed reef tank. Lives and is growing/showing well next to an Alveopora. I put a small Goni frag between them (maybe too close to the Duncan) and after about a 1 day the Duncan is just shut up completely. I am going to move the new Goni because that is the only thing that has changed. But IDK, does this sound familiar to anyone?

Goniopora can be strongly allopathic to unrelated corals, I use one around the thank to knock back weedy Pocillipora -

but Duncans sometimes over-react too..

I would move it to your future Goni-garden spot
