Duncans advice please

So my water paramaters havent changed since i put the duncans in but the last week or so my duncans has took a new form on anybody know why?

Hard to tell by the picture but do you mean how stubby the tentacles are?

Don't have mine anymore but they changed shape the first few months depending on flow, lighting or if I fed them recently. A day or two later they'd look almost dead I thought but they're only pooping and will be fine in a few hours/next day.

Yes i meant the stubby shape first few weeks had nice long tentacles

I'm no expert on duncans but both pairs I have in 2 separate tanks did the same thing - were great looking then retracted. I lowered the flow a little and direct feed w/reef roids and both pairs are coming back bigger than before. Billy Pipes has a great video on Youtube - - I've been using this method and results have been amazing.

When I got mine it looked like that off and on, I think it's fine and will settle in eventually. I would mess with the flow it's getting first then Light intensity.

Keep and eye on it. Mine had experienced tissue loss from the base up in the beginning but grew back, I think it was a fresh frag and was in shock.

Well after two days of looking like dead sticks I came home to this. Guess they had a good poo and are right as rain again.

Found some pics of the one I had. Same Duncan in two different tanks though. You can see how it looked similar to yours and was still OK. They're always changing shape.
