What should I exactly be running during my cycle besides testing, I'm cycling with live rock, I don't have a skimmer but it's a 10g tank, do I leave my powerhead on and my light? Or nothing?

Personally I run everything that would generate heat in order to get a true running temp of the tank. That way you won't have any surprises when you begin stocking the tank.

Keeping the light off during the cycle is thought to prevent a severe algae bloom, personally I keep the light on it's normal cycle.

You need to keep the filtration and power heads running to assist in establishing your biological filter.

Is it going to help the cycle?

No running the lights will not help the cycle. It will take roughly 6-8 weeks, unless you used totally cured live rock. Set up and run the system like you would if you had fish in it already. No reason not to.
RUnning the lights now will prevent the algea bloom at the end of the cycle. Its going to happen regardless of when. So turn em on and run em normal.

If you can get some media from an established tank that will add beneficial bacteria and speed things up. It's true that live rock speeds things up greatly. I've heard biospora helps too.

I just put in a piece of rock with a lot of good coralline growth on it yesterday and it dropped my ammonia pretty quick!

Live rock is the best investment I know of.
