Duros standpipe in a CPR overflow?

I have my tank and sump filled and I am running the system now. But my CPR cs100 overflow is gurgling like crazy and driving me nuts. LOL I did some research and was wondering if the Duros standpipe would work in in my HOB overflow?

This overflow was part of a package deal that I got and it is missing some items such as the screen and things like that. If the Duros standpipe does not work is there anything else I can try?

The durso should work, otherwise the stockman standpipe is another option.
