Durso drain question

I've always used a Bean Animal system on my DT but my temp tank that I've set up because of a recent move came with a Durso set up and I don't want to drill it or run the return over the back.

Where should the drain line end...just above the water line, just below the water line or about 1" below the water line?

cromag, I couldn't find the answer to my question anywhere on that site. It all dealt with the standpipe and the over flow not the sump.

Oh my bad. 1" - 1.5" is what I've used in the past.
