Looking for a Dussumieri Tang - size really doesn't matter. Not looking to pay $1000, you can find them retail but would rather get from another reefer. Will be going into 450 gallon tank (not including sump).

Is this the fish?

Marine collectors says they have two for a lot less than you are willing to pay. NOTE: I have never dealt with them. Absolutely wonderful addition. Good luck

That store is out of stock if that's what you were saying.

Yeah, I was looking to pay maybe half or less of that. I appreciate you taking the time though!
try saltwaterfish.com they have a waiting list

Just so you know, as with mine, this fish grows quickly to 10-12" and develops a temper with other fish

NY Aquatics always has them

I think I saw some on violet aquarium’s website the other day. Not sure price, as I wasnt looking for those but worth a look. They have some pretty reasonable prices Ive found and healthy fish!

I understand and thank you! I have a 450 gallon (w/out sump) and very few fish in there. I would like to add the dussumieri to the three docile tangs I have now. They're all still small so I'd like to get a small to medium and allow them all to grow together. I enjoy that part of it.

I actually did try to reach out to them a few times but I never got a response, and after reading mixed reviews... Not sure what to do. Hate to blindly send my money without hearing back.

So I tried to order an emp angel from them. The guy called me back to tell me they looked not good and wanted to sub with something else. He gave me a fish that was 70 dollars more than the emp and it came in great health! Also recently got my white eye moray eel from them. Usually they take a few days to settle and eat but this little guy ate for me on day one and is very healthy. Here he is today! Had him about a month now.

That's really great to know! I just wish someone would say something so I'm not wondering if they're out of business! I heard from one guy today who says he'll have some that have gone through qt after the holiday, if not I may give them another try.

Yeah! I reach the guy by phone. I can look and see if I can find the number and PM it to you

That size tank will be fine
